College Baseball Rules

College baseball rules is something many people talk about when they compare college baseball to major league baseball. Their are some different rules especially the use of bats. The major league level uses wood where college baseball rules let you use aluminum bats. This is one rule I personally don't like in the college game because when a player goes to the minor leagues he has to get use to the wooden bat again. Their are many differences from the wooden and aluminum bat. One of the biggest differences is how faster the ball will jump off aluminum than it will wooden. This is a big adjustment for players and many can't make it. The only really good thing about aluminum is they do last alot longer than wooden bats. i will give them that. Most of the college baseball rules though are similar to Major League baseball which is good. Changing rules all the time is hard on ballplayers so keep the same rules as much as possible is always a good thing if you ask me. College baseball rules do different one big way than the Major Leagues. Safety is more of an issue in college than at the professional level.

I guess when you get to the major league level they feel they don't have to protect you as much as they do at the college level. Protection is good and these college baseball rules are their to make sure no one gets seriously hurt. When baseballs are being thrown at you around one hundred miles an hour you need protection. College baseball rules are their to protect the player first which is a great thing. I wish more associations would look towards that goal than we would have alot less injuries and maybe less kids getting hurt. Every year college baseball rules always have additions and subtractions. The rules committees go over the college baseball rules and see what they add to make the game safer and move along quicker. College baseball rules are always changing and for the better usually which is a very good thing. If you want your product to get better proper rule enforcement is the best way to go if you as me.
College baseball rules change often so every year get a rulebook is one way for you to keep up on the newest college baseball rules added.
